22 000m2 IN 2014 EXTENDED TO DISTRIBUTION CENTRE 500m2
As the name itself suggests the production of the Bobcat brand machines takes place in the Manufacturing plant. The production hall is divided into several areas: primary production – where lasers and press brakes are found; modern mobile welding lines; paint shop; 3 assembly lines and storage areas.
Control and preparation of imported machines from the USA and Korea for sale on the EMEA market take place in the Distribution Centre.
Administration also is located in the building. Financial Department, constant improvement, security, purchase, planning and supplying, human resources, production technology team, Quality Department, expedition and warehouse management.
THE MANUFACTURING PLANT EMPLOYS AROUND 600 EMPLOYEES.
The manufacturing facility manufactures over 12 000 machines annually.
The goal of the innovation centre is to create world class innovations in all areas of our business. Speeding-up the release of new products on the market. The goal is the World Class quality, reliability and durability of our machines. The innovation centre is a European centre which connects technical perfection, validation and testing centre. Facilities of the innovation centre are multifuctional, team-oriented and put emphasis on development of innovative solutions which exceed expectations, provide timely results and contribute to reach the goals of the project.
Engeneering teams in the new innovation centre secure complex development of compact building machines – skid steer loaders, compact excavators, telescopic manipulators and accessories for these machines. The machines are produced for customers from all over the world. You also find Portable Power EMEA Engineering in the building which develops compressors, generators and lighting towers.
There are more than 170 employees in the innovation centre.
Experts working in the development teams cover all the disciplines necessary for complete construction and machine testing. The Development Centre also is equipped with top-class technologies for design, calculations, construction of prototypes and machine testing.
6 000m2 INCLUDING THE AREA FOR TRAINING OF CONTROLING THE MACHINES
The goal is to support the trade growth through the development of professional skills across the whole business (training of employees, dealers, customers, suppliers, etc.).
Improving the loyalty of customers and sellers to the brand and our products.
The Bobcat Institute provides training for dealers concerning products, machine service, machine sales and customer care. The Bobcat Institute also procures the university for dealers, training of the nternal workers, special offers for customers, Demo show, Road show and trade fairs. The Bobcat Institute provides training for the entire Bobcat and Doosan portfolio.
THERE ARE MORE THAN 200 TRAININGS AND ca. 2 000 PEOPLE ARE TRAINED ANNUALLY.
There is a team responsible for the Doosan Bobxat Learning Center and team of demonstrators of Doosan & Bobcat in the Bobcat Institute. About 20 people work here in total, consisted of coaches, instructores, demonstrators, coordinators of training and people providing PR and organizing all the events.
